The country is slowly getting back on its feet and through the power of community, we have come through one of the toughest periods in our history. Throughout the crisis, our motto of “People helping people” has shone through. Now that we are on the other side it’s important that we stick together and look after one another! Here’s what’s been going on in the Savvi community.
We’re delighted to be able to help the Raytown Men’s Shed from Ringsend maintain social distancing while out and about in the community! The Men’s Shed have been extremely active making their locality a better place, and their shiny new Savvi sponsored hi-vis vests will ensure that nobody misses them!
Louise Rooney, one of our Electric Ireland members, has been tirelessly knitting blankets for palliative care patients in the Lourdes Hospital. It is a privilege for us to support her in her endeavour! Keep up the amazing work Louise!
Check out these snazzy new flower planters located around Ringsend and Irishtown! There’s even one outside our branch. We’re looking forward to seeing the beautiful flowers bloom and brighten up the area! By contributing to these planters, we are reinforcing our commitment to our community and our common bond.
As we enter Phase 2 of exiting lockdown, we would like to welcome back all the local businesses in our community that are reopening. Make sure you get out and support them by shopping locally where possible!
