Message to our members

Dear Member,

At Savvi Credit Union our member’s health & wellbeing is paramount. With cases of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) increasing, we want to ensure we serve our members as efficiently and effectively as always during this time. With this in mind, we have to be realistic and plan for the potential closure of branches and so we’d like to outline the options open to you, particularly if you normally conduct your business in person, over the counter.

  • Online banking:

Savvi online banking is a free and easy way to access your accounts. To register for online access please go to – https://secure.savvi.ie/Register-for-Online-Access. This will give you full access to your funds provided they are in your online access account. From here you can set up beneficiaries for transfer of funds from your account.

  • If you already have an online banking PIN, you are already registered & have access.
  • If you have forgotten your PIN you can request a replacement by contacting us at 01 6325100.
  • If you need to transfer funds to your Online Access account, you can do so by contacting us by phone or email, providing you have signed an Authority and Indemnity form.
  • Do you have a Smartphone App?

Once you have activated your online account you can then download the app from the App Store for your Apple or Android Phone

  • Card Payments

These can be taken over the phone and can be made to your loan account or to cover a shortfall in your budget account by calling us at 01 6325100

Mon – Thurs – 8.30 am – 5:00 pm
Fri – 8.30 am – 4.30 pm

Email us on hello@savvi.ie with any instructions/queries/concerns.

  • Loan Payments

If you currently make your loan payments by cash in branch, it may suit you better to sign up to Direct Debit so that your payments are automated. You can get a DD form on our website www.savvi.ie, or by contacting us by phone or email (details below)

We understand that many of you may be facing challenging times financially. If you are affected please contact us on creditcontrol@savvi.ie or Hello@savvi.ie and we will do what we can to help.

Our plan is that we keep the business going even if we have to close our branches. So that we can continue to operate your accounts and can accept phone or email instructions from you, we need a signed Authority and Indemnity form on file. If you haven’t signed one already, please do so, so that we can continue to accept your instructions in the event that we can’t meet with you face to face. We have attached a form or you can sign one at any of our branches. Please note that we can only accept these forms with an original signature. Please return to – Savvi Credit Union, 27-28 Herbert Place, Dublin 2.

Please keep an eye on our website or social media channel for any updates. If you have any queries at all in relation to your account please do not hesitate to contact us at 01 6325100 or email us at hello@savvi.ie

We would advise that you keep an eye on the Department of Health’s press release web page for official communications in this regard – please see https://www.gov.ie/en/publications/

In the meantime please stay safe.

Kind regards,

The Savvi Team
