Titled ‘A wish for 2020”, our message back in January contained all the hope that comes with a new year. 5 short months on, our world has been turned on its head.
Yet it is clear to me that our mantra of “People helping People” resonates all the louder in times of adversity. On the operations front, our staff have continued to work away for Savvi members, both in the offices that remain open and from home where possible. I am happy to say that whilst there have been some changes in how we do our work, members have continued to be able to avail of all Savvi services during the crisis.
These are challenging times and if, as a member, you require help, please do not hesitate to contact us. Indeed, many people are seeing that they have more time on their hands, so members should now take this opportunity to think about their personal finances and see what steps can be taken to ensure that when life gets “back to normal” they are in the best financial position possible.
Savvi Credit Union is One Big Family, and we sincerely hope that you, your families and close ones are staying safe and well in the current pandemic.
